Greeting kiddies! :D

Sorry for the super long hiatus,been saving up some material for all of you. :)

I want to announce that I won't be putting up poems often as I have been very busy(I just got a job for a week,see?).

But to make it up to you kiddies,I'm going to put up 2 poems of mine.(Bring out the confetti!)

Fallen Yet Again

She thought she could not

find the perfect one among the lot

after losing a former lover,

after her tears had dissolved in the river.

A random night at the beach

turned out to be her night of romance,in which

her locked heart opened up invitingly

as quick as he wraps his arms around her tightly.

But all good things must come to an end so fateful,

A fate that's indescribably dreadful

Cheaters never prosper,

and that marks the end of the trust between him and her.

Hello & Goodbye,Just Like That

She figured she would never

find a worthy lover

but poof,Cupid struck the arrows

and filled up hearts deep & hollow.

Too bad Cupid was naughty

He released another pair of arrows apathetically,

To have bound her and another gentleman at the very moment

her relationship with another was dormant.

As they got talking,

their love for each other kept growing

But alas,'tis the reality she could not face

that love's just like a race.

They both kept on wishing

"If only I was there earlier,not her suffocating,

then we'd be together,showing everyone

that we're perfect for each other,wouldn't that be fun?"

He strives to walk the other way

Step by step,day by day

"She loves another,he loves her..TOO MUCH INFO!"

But then again,she tugs on his sleeve and says,"Just don't go."

"Why? Why so? I think I should leave;I really do."

"No..because..never mind,just go love God-knows-who."

He snatches his heart from her and parts with the feeling of dominance

Tearfully,she bids him farewell,in silence.

High school life is all about make-ups,break-ups and screw-ups.

During that time,it's all about discovering ourselves and relinquish our fears.

And sometimes,we need someone else to help us do so.

To think that we were strangers once

Now you trap me in a trance

I felt nothing,none before

But it seems now,you made my soul soar

The way you run your delicate fingers through my hair

The way I just freeze and into your eyes,I stare

These images in my head

Never fade

I never thought that I would suffer like this

Every single day,believing that we would once again kiss

All alone I stand,think,watch the sunset

Here I conclude: Falling in love with you is the one thing I would never regret.

AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY!

If no one lends a helping hand,we will all suffer a loss.

Even animals such as the docile dove encounters difficulties along its arduous journey and requires a kind soul to guide it back to its path.

This poem will teach us that sometimes hope isn't enough to set us free.

Sad,little bird

A white dove,the symbol of peace and unity

Enclosed,trapped,cloistered from the open sky

Its chirps for help were ignored simply

It longs to soar,it longs to fly.

Caught for reasons so selfish,so despicable

It makes everyone else cry

for the bird's future is now unattainable

It longs to soar,it longs to fly.

Lonely,hungry,tortured

for so long,its bowl has been left dry

The children next door come with sticks and leave the creature's wing fractured

It longs to soar,it longs to fly.

"No more hope,I might as well rot and die," the bird sighed.

It'll never soar,it'll never fly.

Don't we all feel useless?

There's surely times in your life where you feel pretty upset about your flaws and you finally decide that suicide's the only option.

Well,GET THAT OUT OF YOUR HEAD!

All you need is LOVE.

You can get it anywhere : Friends,family,teachers,colleagues,the cleaner of your HDB apartment..

Here's a poem I wrote a long time ago to express my invalid-ness.

Mistakes

I am a mistake

I'm still a mistake with every sound I make

Every breath I take

Every smile I try to fake

Everything just seems wrong,doesn't it?

Nothing I do is ever right,nothing ever fits

Just leave me,leave me very aggrieved

My happiness,no,it could no more be retrieved

God hates me,it seems,I guess

Or maybe I should be loved less

I don't know anymore,I'd rather jump down this lake

But still,nothing could change the fact that I'm a mistake.

Child Prodigy-SOLVED?

4-year-old Marla Olmstead(now five) seemed like an average youngster painting alongside her father.

But imagine these dabs of paint being sold off at ten thousands of US dollars.
Fortunately,controversies have yet to tear this young girl's family apart.
So this poem is dedicated to her. :D

Thoughts of The Inner Marla

"It's her,the child prodigy!" one seemed to exclaim,

I've gotten used to it,since my climb to fame

The grown-ups are always blaming Daddy

but he never backs down,just like Noddy in TV.

"Just paint,honey.Pretend we're not here,"Daddy says to me,

I gave him a nod and picked up my paintbrush slowly

The giant monster cameras start 'rolling',I'm not sure where to,

Oh well,I'll just paint whatever,impromptu.

Red here,blue there,oh! I love green

and all the other colours I've seen.

I add rainbows all over the canvas with a splish and a splash,

I'm done now,so I leave the kitchen,in a flash.

After watching TV one day,Mummy looks sad;Daddy seems mad,

And somehow,I feel bad.

Is it me,Mummy? Was it my paintings on TV,Daddy?

I guess I'll never know;Daddy won't tell me.

These events might conjure riots

but Mummy and Daddy do not keep quiet.

They want the others to believe,to conceive

that they are proud of me,why they continue to live.

Like this autumn leaf,imperfect people tend to fall from great heights and change according to what they believe as 'perfect'.

This poem's dedicated to those imperfect people like me!

Perfect biatches can just go be perfect someplace else but here.

Perfection

doesn't come from false gibberish.

In fact,it is a clandestine contradiction,

a beautiful lie,a greater sin,an inconspicuous deal;

probably woven by the Devil himself.
